November 2, 2010 Already!
Dear Supporter:
Since you
elected me to be your County Commissioner in November of 2006, I
have been extremely proud to represent the 1.7 million residents of
Broward County and, in particular, the nearly 200,000 residents of
District 4.
Each of your votes indicated that you shared my vision of an
environmentally sensitive, business friendly and fiscally
conservative Broward County.
And since my election, I have led the charge on the County
Commission to lower your property taxes; to eliminate wasteful
spending; to protect our dwindling open spaces; to ensure adequate
funding for beach re-nourishment; and to promote sensible
development in coastal Broward.
In fact, since November 2006, I have never voted to raise
your property taxes, and the County Commission has reduced Broward’s
annual budget by $385 million dollars. I’m extremely proud of this
accomplishment.
But there is still more that needs to be done. That’s why I’m
running for re-election. I would be honored to have your vote on
November 2nd.
